"I was assigned to Dr Estrada as my kids PCP, the actual Dr is Sosa as I understand Dr Estrada is not really visiting the office as he’s getting ready to retire. Dr Sosa has been great to my kids and addressing all of their needs, the office staff is professional and so far no troubles with making appointments as per previous negative reviews."
"This was the best dental experience I’ve ever had! From being someone who was afraid of the dentist and extremely anxious about coming in I left feeling great and so much better. I went in with a cracked tooth and left with a beautiful fix thanks to Dr. Do and his assistant Natalie! They were extremely gentle and made me feel safe throughout the quick procedure. I am so thankful I found a dentist that really cares about their patient’s I also want to thank Brittany and Lesly for making sure I was comfortable throughout my XRays and helping with my paperwork!"
"I’ve been bringing my son to Dr Kent since he was a tiny baby and I really can’t picture us going anywhere else. He’s amazing and so gentle with the kids. My 8 month old just had her first appointment and it couldn’t have been better. The staff here is always so welcoming and friendly. "we have been coming to South coast pediatrics dentistry since 2019, for the past 4 years. the staff is so friendly, respectful, and welcoming. They always remind me when my daughter’s checkup is due by texting me or calling me to remind me. the doctor has a lot of knowledge, is always kind and always gives me good tips on how I can improve our dental hygiene routine at home. They also give the kids prize or goodie bag at the end. My daughter always look forward to her appointments. :) we LOVE it here! 10/10 recommend!! :)"

"My kids have been coming here for about 2 years, they are 4 and 5 years old. My oldest one has gotten comfortable and sits for x-rays and cleanings by himself. My younger one is still hesitant but they are always super patient with him. It helps that there is always a disney movie on for them to watch to distract them."

"Since taking my nephew to SCPD, I’ve always received excellent service not only from Dr. Do but from his staff as well. They’ve always been very helpful and friendly and are always on top of their service as well as appointment reminders and updates. I appreciate how they inform me of every work/procedure when working on my nephew’s teeth. My nephew had to have surgery, and the preparation was smooth…from their office to referring us to the location of his surgery, where we also received excellent service during and after his surgery. Parking is great, it is a shared plaza with other businesses but we did not have trouble finding a spot to make it to our appointment on time. They have numerous signs for COVID-19 for patients, love that. Check in was super smooth especially with the sweet girl’s in the front. I love how decorative their office is for the holidays! I was given some forms to fill out since this was my first initial visit, nothing too extreme. We were seen in such a timely manner. Joanna and Yeslie were the sweetest which is why I had to shout them out. Joanna was so gentle with my newborn when checking him in the room. "Absolutely incredible experience here. We came here after a not so fabulous experience at Kids R Us in Newport Beach. I have a 5 year old daughter and a 3 year old son with Down syndrome. He usually does not have any sensory issues but he does not trust everybody right away. He needs people to talk to him and just let him know what’s going on to feel comfortable. We moved here from Colorado last year and had an awesome dentist out there which we knew would be a difficult adjustment for my son. I won’t get into why things weren’t great at Kids R Us because this isn’t about them. Lol SCPD was great with my son and took the time and energy to make him feel so comfortable. The dentist was honest with me about the state of my kids teeth (no cavities at the moment but a couple areas that look like they might develop cavities and how to prevent it best). He answered all of my questions about my son’s teeth being a little different and on top of that, the dental assistant took extra time to show my 5 year old the X-rays of her teeth showing her "big girl" teeth growing in behind her baby teeth. Both of my kids left happy with healthy, clean teeth and goodie bags they were excited about. I will be bringing my kids here as long as I am in Southern California."

You can just see how much he cares about his patients and his profession that he is still doing what he loves to do 34 years later. "I have been taking my child here for a couple of years. On the last visit, the doctor stated he has cavities in-between his teeth. So to all the parents out there, flossing is a must. I have a million and one question because as most parents, we need to know the process. The staff was very patient with me just like other said in their reviews. They answered all my questions and recommended me for a second opinion, which I took my child to another practice and they pretty much said the same thing...cavities in-between the teeth. But I wasn’t comfortable with them so I came back.When I came back, the staff reassure and answer my questions. They told me exactly what’s going to happen which I appreciate. During the treatment, they kept me informed because I had to wait in the lobby. After the treatment the staff provided me ways to take care of my son afterwards and they follow up with me which i appreciated. All-in-all, i’m happy with their work...just not happy that my kids got cavities =)"

I love taking my son to Dr. Sosa because I can feel a connection with him and I feel like his the only one that understands me the most... "My daughter really likes it here! She did have a couple cavities and I was more nervous than my 3 year old! it was so quick and she never complained of any soreness or pain afterwards. We have been back since and they have a no cavity club where the kids get to pick a toy if they are cavity free and she got to pick her first toy! which she was super excited about. The staff is super friendly and informative and I am happy with the care we receive!"

"I came recommmended by a friend who has multiple kids. The office was clean and the staff friendly. I found out my child has multiple cavities and needed to get fixed. They presented the cost and i had questions. They answered them all and didn't feel pressure. They even advise me to get a second opinion if I'm not comfortable. The honest truth was i was comfortable. I went ahead and scheduled. After the treatment, the staff called same day and checked up on me. I felt like they were there every step of the way. "I have been to this dentist twice with my 3 foster children and I do not have one bad thing to say!! The staff is amazingly gentle and friendly, the office is clean and happy and they work with us to fill out additional paperwork and other mandatory things we have to do.My first visit, my 4 yr old was TERRIFIED from a previous traumatic experience with a different dentist and they were so gentle with her that on our recent second visit, I wasn’t even in the room with her and she did wonderful and was just fine! I call that AMAZING considering she would cry at the thought of going to the dentist.We needed surgery for the youngest two after our first visit but it took awhile to get approval (foster requirement) so we decided to do our 6 months check up before moving forward with the surgerie At the visit, the doc said whatever I was doing was working well and that the kids’ teeth were not getting worse. Because of this, one of the kids no longer needed surgery (woohoo!). For those saying they are money hungry, I’m sorry, but i have to disagree! They have been so wonderful that I decided to keep them instead of finding a dentist closer to our house. I would not dream of going to a different dentist. In addition, Dr. Do has thoroughly explained all conditions and answered every question I had more than adequately. The kids always have a smile on their faces when we leave the office and I could not be happier with South Coast Pediatric Dentistry as our Dentist of choice!!I would highly recommend you check them out!!"

"May 6, 2014. We needed a second opinion with my daughter’s major oral treatment. South Coast Pediatric Dententistry does not perform the type of major surgery my daughter needed. I was a bit disappointed because the staff and Dr. Do were super helpful, friendly and very informative what I needed to do in getting the care my daughter needed. She felt really comfortable with the staff and Dr. Do and that said a lot from a young child. I left there with a better understanding and trusted their judgment and took their advice to heart after sharing my concerns. I would definitely recommend them to all my friends and will most likely check back to this office after getting my daughter taken care of."

"We just had a dental checkup/cleaning for my 3yr old here and I have to say I was extremely pleased. The staff was very courteous and patient with us the entire time, from initial calls to scheduling to the exam room itself. The front lobby is a little small, but they do have 2 tablets affixed to the wall, a large TV and one of those wire-bead toys to play with while waiting. Our appointment started a little late, which was as much my fault as anything (for reference, it’s tucked in the back corner of a big shopping center lot, I didn’t even see it when we came in). Dr. Kent Do took the time to explain to me what he was looking for during the exam, though we had a hard time getting x-rays with my squirmy boy. I can DEFINITELY see making referrals to these folks!"
